Only a year after Carmageddon Reincarnation was released on steam, a new Carmageddon game is slated for release on home consoles this year.
From the looks of the trailer you can still turn pedestrians into red puffs and destroy your opponents in a race to the death.
But wait, It’s not coming to pc? wha!? Actually according to this post from a developer it will be released on Steam for free!
Not many details but it might act as an add on to the purchase of Carmageddon: Reincarnation.
Ben has done it again, this time rather than making a home console portable, he has made a portable console… well, not portable.
He took a Game Boy DMG1, hooked it to an FPGA converter outputting to a computer monitor.
Then he built a GIANT Game Boy system to handle button inputs.
He also chose to use GREEN only, paying homage to the terrible screen on the DMG1.
Overall a really cool project, check it out on YouTube by clicking the video link below.
This one has been digging at me since childhood, my sister and me would play this for hours and barely make the boss much less finish a level.
This game is HARD and it’s difficulty isn’t due to horrid controls, it actually platforms well, It is the sheer number of enemies and how quickly you can die that makes this one hard.
Levels vary quite a bit, walking, jumping, swimming and yes, flying all happen across different stages. this creates a new type of challenge each time you make it to the next level.
Honestly I had to crack out the game genie on this one, for two reasons… One, I selected Quit instead of Continue a couple times. (WHY is that the first option?) Two, I lost all of my items in the process and finding replacements without restarting wasn’t an option.
Anyways, As usual, click below for a playlist of the game.
So I went ahead and gave Karate Champ a try solo. This game is pretty basic, just a 1 v 1 fight for points.
The biggest issues are the AI is hard to predict and the controls aren’t amazing.
That being said I remember playing this with friends and have fond memories of that.
As usual clicking the link will bring you to a YouTube video of me playing the game.
It looks like Dawn of War II won the battle.

So that’s it I played through DuckTales… Failed a LOT along the way but I did it.
The worst part is getting SO close to the end then failing and having to start completely over.
Clicking here will show you footage of my failures
Clicking the image below will bring you to the completion run of the game.

So I finally played a game that had been hyped up most of my life and I have to say its a pretty Solid game. The biggest thing that annoyed me was the horrid key card system, Switching through 8 cards in a random hope to get the right card in a room filled with gas or other traps is ridiculous. The next major annoyance was the lack of directions or hints when it came to the maze areas (navigating randomly up left upper right down would have been endless). The constant deaths were not actually the worst thing about the game when you consider you re-spawn with all of your items and the bosses stay dead. That being said I am glad I finally got a chance to play this one through.
Thank again to Drezirale for helping out and being my guide through some of the more difficult areas.
Sega is having a promotion right now called Make war not love 3
It appears they are pitting several games against eachother in this promotion. You simply play the games to make your game win.
But if that doesn’t interest you, the link below explains how to get the first set of free games they are offering without actually participating.
Make War Not Love 3 – Prize 1 – Steam Store
From an age when using the letter Z instead of S, comes one of the more frustrating games I have played.
Actual level size was not huge but the frustration of the platforms and controls made this one very difficult.
The stream has been posted to YouTube, click the image below to check it out!
