I finally finished StarTropics after a very long play through and losing my save.
Yes, I got to level 8 and then lost my save completely. What do you do at that point? Give up?
I started a brand new game with full cheats on to run the entire game
Click below for the entire run (just under 3 hours)
And here is the entire playlist of all of the frustration I went through.
I was challenged by a friend to do a daily stream for the holidays.
I present to you: The 31 days of NullMas (starting December 1st)
While hanging out online LuzOb and myself decided to pickup gauntlet slayer edition and give it a go.
We ended up playing with Rado as well after our first session.

This October I decided it was time to crack into the Resident Evil series and what better place to start than Resident Evil 0.
This game was interesting but had some frustrating mechanics.
Overall it added some good backstory for the first game but did not stand alone very well.

I decided to take a break during the rage inducing play through of TMNT for the NES and tackle the next game selected by poll, Lee Trevino’s Fighting Golf.
This was a bad choice, the game is just broken and nonsensical in the way it controls and gives you no real judgement on what clubs will do what.
Overall I didn’t like this one and there are far better NES Golf titles out there.
check the video out below.
Played a good chunk of this later release in the NES library.
This game came out on the SNES as well, both in 1994.
Its a fun manic puzzle game with a solid progression of difficulty.
It has 2 main modes a timer mode, a VS mode and more.
A decent game to take a look at, but i still prefer DR Mario.
Rad Racer is the classic NES racing game from Square
This game was a heck of a challenge when it came to completing it.
If you don’t know to hold A when pressing start you have to start the game over, which doesn’t make progression through 8 stages with 4 segments each easy.
The challenge definitely steps up in later levels as cars just swerve allover the road making it very hard to get past them and complete the level in a timely manner.
The final stage was the hardest with one mistake meaning you could not make the checkpoint most of the time.
As usual, click the title screen to be taken to a YouTube playlist of the stream.
This one has been digging at me since childhood, my sister and me would play this for hours and barely make the boss much less finish a level.
This game is HARD and it’s difficulty isn’t due to horrid controls, it actually platforms well, It is the sheer number of enemies and how quickly you can die that makes this one hard.
Levels vary quite a bit, walking, jumping, swimming and yes, flying all happen across different stages. this creates a new type of challenge each time you make it to the next level.
Honestly I had to crack out the game genie on this one, for two reasons… One, I selected Quit instead of Continue a couple times. (WHY is that the first option?) Two, I lost all of my items in the process and finding replacements without restarting wasn’t an option.
Anyways, As usual, click below for a playlist of the game.
So I went ahead and gave Karate Champ a try solo. This game is pretty basic, just a 1 v 1 fight for points.
The biggest issues are the AI is hard to predict and the controls aren’t amazing.
That being said I remember playing this with friends and have fond memories of that.
As usual clicking the link will bring you to a YouTube video of me playing the game.
